If you’ve lived in Riga for a while, you might remember when aesthetic medicine meant something entirely different than it does today. Back in 2005, when we first opened our clinic, we had a lot of explaining to do.
Now, two decades later, we are still here at Bruņinieku 21, still learning, still growing, and honestly, still just as passionate about what we do as we were on day one.
Our Story
Twenty years ago, we had a simple idea: to bring serious, professional aesthetic procedures to the center of Riga. Treatments based on medical expertise, not just advertising slogans.
Since then, we’ve watched aesthetic medicine completely transform. The equipment has become smarter. Research has revealed better approaches. Clients have become more informed (thank you, internet).
But here is what has NOT changed: we still believe that real results come from combining the right medical knowledge with genuine care for every person who walks through our door.
Sounds simple, right? Yes. And no.

We are medical professionals first.
Here is what matters: every person on the Esthétique Médicale team has a medical education. Our physiotherapists, cosmetologists, and dermatologists didn’t just take weekend courses. They studied anatomy, physiology, and the science of the skin.
Why does this matter to you? Because when you’re getting a treatment that works on a cellular level, you want someone who truly understands what is happening to your skin.
In other words: we are medical professionals who specialize in making you look and feel great. That order is important.
Equipment that actually works
We are a bit picky about our equipment. Everything in our clinic comes from recognized global manufacturers with medical certification. LPG. Sciton. Classys.
We avoid the machines you see in Instagram ads with impossible before-and-after photos. Instead, we use medical equipment with real clinical studies backing its effectiveness.
Take our LPG technology, for example. We have worked with this French brand for over 20 years and are international LPG Endermologie trainers. This technology stimulates natural processes in the tissues, improves microcirculation, and provides lymphatic drainage. Results are visible after just 3 treatments, and they are cumulative.
Or take Sciton BBL. It rejuvenates your skin at the cellular level. Real cellular work instead of superficial magic. And for HIFU lifting, we have both the Ultraformer III and Ultraformer MPT — two devices our clients particularly love. Ultraformer III delivers deep action to the dermis, stimulating your own collagen production without affecting the skin’s surface. Ultraformer MPT is a newer version with advanced capabilities for targeted work and body contouring. Both devices provide a visible lift without surgery.
Do these treatments work? Yes. Do they work overnight? No. Do they require multiple sessions? Usually, yes. We will always be honest about that.

Being in the center of Riga means a lot to us. This city has grown incredibly over the past 20 years, and so has the understanding of what good aesthetic medicine looks like.

What’s Next
Sure, 20 years is a nice round number. But honestly, we are more interested in years 21, 22, and beyond.
The field keeps evolving. New research comes out. Our specialists attend seminars and improve their qualifications. The equipment gets better. We learn more about what truly works in the long run.
We don’t plan on resting on the laurels of two decades of experience. We plan to use that experience to keep getting better at what we do.
